PORTAAL is a translation agency and language training centre with offices in Sint-Niklaas, Ghent, Ninove and Geraardsbergen.
The company was founded by Ruth De Graeve, a Ghent University graduate with a Master of Arts in Linguistics and Literature. She is a sworn translator and interpreter. Interested in expanding her own knowledge of language and culture, she spent several months abroad. She has lived in both France and Spain and studied at the Sorbonne University and the Université Paris-Diderot in Paris.
A decision for PORTAAL is a decision for experienced and qualified translators and teachers. All of our employees are native speakers, with special expertise in every field imaginable. We select the right teacher or translator/copywriter for you, based on your needs.
Quality and speed come first, and it goes without saying that your deadlines are top priority. We are at your service. That means you can also contact us for last-minute translations and to have your projects double-checked by a separate reviser.
(Sworn) translations and interpreting aren’t the only things we do. We also offer language refresher courses and private and group language lessons.
